About me
I was first drawn to this work through my own need for acceptance. From childhood I felt like something was wrong with me. It was through depth psychotherapy that I began to understand myself. I was someone who had learned to survive in a world that didn’t care for my sensitivity - intergenerational trauma, neurodivergence and a nervous system constantly scanning for threat. I learned to find compassion for the parts of me that never felt safe, nurtured or worthy of existing. I began the slow, tender work of building a life that felt aligned with who I truly am.
Originally from Liverpool via many continents, my home for now is in the Western Highlands. I live beside the woods, next to a loch. I enjoy long walks and swimming in the sea. I cherish plant medicine and love good coffee. Each morning, an embodied practice anchors me. I make art again. I'm writing about trauma passed on through motherhood.

My credentials
I began my career as a statistician and psychometrician. I love working with data and stories. For some I'm too scientific, and too woo woo for others. I disklike misinterpreting data as fact or when science becomes more than an evolving process and lacks discernment.
I'm a Chartered Psychologist and an depth psychotherapist drawing from a broad base of approaches Jungian Depth Psychology, Strategic Brief Therapy, EMDR, Parts Therapy, Hypnotherapy, EFT, Art Therapy and Transactional Analysis, among others.
I coach speakers and produce events (TedX Manchester, TedX Liverpool and TedX Newcastle etc). I've practiced yoga for fifteen years and taught yoga meditation and breathwork most days for over eight years.
I've worked across many industries from entrepreneurs to BBC Radio, from manufacturing to mobile technology, investment banking to central government HM Treasury.
I offer inspiring educational talks and workshops on Jungian psychology, yoga and late-discovered neurodivergence in women. These are the places I know most intimately, from both sides of the room.
