About me

Originally from Liverpool, i've also lived in Wales, Spain, USA, Ireland, London and more recently the Western Highlands of Scotland. For now I live beside the woods, next to a loch. I enjoy long walks with my dog Elvis and swimming in the sea. I cherish plants and love good coffee. Each morning, an embodied practice anchors me. I make art again and I'm currently writing about inherited trauma.

My credentials

I work with the stories and unseen forces shaping our lives.

My career began as a scientist, a statistician / psychometrician, making sense out of numbers. Since then I've been drawn to helping people share their untold stories.

This makes me too scientific for some and too woo woo for others. I disklike misinterpreting individual experiences as a generaliseable facts or when science becomes more than an evolving process and lacks discernment.

A Chartered Psychologist with thirty-five years of practice and an integrative therapeutic coach drawing from a broad base of approaches, Jungian Depth Psychology, Strategic Brief Therapy, EMDR, Parts Therapy, Hypnotherapy, EFT, Art Therapy and Transactional Analysis, among others.

A speaker coach and producer (for TedX Manchester, TedX Liverpool and TedX Newcastle etc) i've helped people to share powerful stories on the world stage.

For my fiftieth birthday I qualified as a yoga, meditation and breathwork teacher and have taught most days since.

I've worked across the many industries from entrepreneurs to BBC Radio, from manufacturing to mobile technology, investment banking to central government HM Treasury. I offer talks and workshops on Jungian psychology, yoga and late-discovered neurodivergence in women, all of the places I know most intimately, from both sides of the room.

Code of Ethics

As a Chartered Psychologist qualifying in 1996 I am bound by the British Psychological Society Code of Ethical Guidelines. You can read more here https://explore.bps.org.uk/content/report-guideline/bpsrep.2021.inf94
