take the path you secretly dreamed of...embody your deepest life force

ABOUT

At the heart of my work is a simple belief, the stories we tell ourselves shape our world and sense of self. Our stories are influenced by family, care givers, societal culture, those we inherit from previous generations and our biology. After decades of conditioning becoming the capable one, the caregiver, the professional, the good girl, the perfectionist, the outcast, something shifts deep in our psyche drawing us back to our innermost self.

Carl Jung called this enantiodromia, the moment when what we’ve suppressed for too long turns and demands to be heard. It shows up in the body as inner resistance and a sense that the life you’ve built no longer fits who you are. It reveals itself in dreams, what we pay attention to and what no longer feels like home. It arrives as crushing grief for our unlived lives, deep-seated rage for the years of self-abandonment and a hunger for greater aliveness. This becomes an invitation to take the path we secretly dreamed of, the one where we return to our deepest life force.

Ipseity (ip-see-uh-tee) Latin; meaning the core essence of who you are; your unborrowed, innermost self, deepest lifeforce, unmasked.

WHAT SHAPES MY APPROACH

Midlife brought me literally to my knees...arthritis, endometriosis and adenomyosis flare-ups, neurodivergence, single motherhood, self-employment, misdiagnoses and gaslighting from the medical profession. I listened to the gurus and followed their life hacks. Not much changed. What made the difference was understanding how the stories and unseen forces shaping my life effect my mind, body and spirit. I began a daily practice to embody who I am at my core. I offer this to you, to become your most trusted guide and fully inhabit who you are.

What people say

Sally Bonnie: Director of Inspiring Futures & Inspiring Women.

Marie has this wonderful gift of making you feel you can do anything. Her mantra “Sally you can do hard things” stays with me. I also commissioned some project work with Marie for various women's groups around Manchester. Her style and approach was just perfect. Our members loved learning new things to help with their wellbeing and applying them in their day-to-day routines. Marie has such an in-depth knowledgeable and a caring approach, it's evident that she wants women to thrive. She also has a wickedly light-hearted spirit that is so much needed in our world.

"The first thing you see of Marie is her warmth. I felt comfortable straight away, she is a wise and accomplished woman. I had children later in life and cared for both parents before they passed. Menopause was hell and I also received my diagnosis for Autism. Marie helped me to reframe my life rather than resent it, she gave me hope. Thank you." (Helen)

"You have been quite inspirational to me. What you teach and how you live resonated with me a great deal. I believe there is empowerment in living more holistically. I want to bring this to my personal and professional life." (Jean)

You helped me find my own path, my own way, learning to trust myself. This process has been scary for me but I'm coming to understand that this is how we become the true version of ourselves." (Emma)

"Thanks you. You helped me open my eyes, my mind and soul..to listen to my gut and body. You provide a magical process of transformation and creation." (Danielle)
