the power of restorative journalling

Journalling gives us access to our unfiltered self, the inner narrative that guide our life.

It's another form of meditation and its power taps into those pieces of us that we want or need to live out.

In our private journalling we bring forth the wisdom from our higher self. We encounter the wise woman, our most compassionate narrator, the heroine and the hidden observer.

It enables us to witness the dominant narratives driving our lives and to nurture those that awaken and empower. We begin to realise that we are not our perceptions and we have a choice in how we choose to live.

a weapon for spiritual combat

When we feel stressed, stuck or lost to ourself we are disembodied and our nervous system dysregulated. We get caught in the cravings of the mind and what we think about, our preoccupations define us.

These inner narratives become the driving force in our lives. Journalling as a practise helps us to change our perspective and connect with more nourishing and growth oriented parts. Michael Foucalt describes journalling as a 'weapon for spiritual combat,' helping us to awaken our authentic self.

The Power of Restorative Journalling is a safe container to help you unravel:

“How noble and good everyone could be if at the end of the day they could review their own behaviour and weigh up the rights and wrongs. They would automatically try to do better at the start of each new day.” Anne Frank
